My expertise, dedication, and ability to communicate effectively make me an optimal professional for providing Section 30 assessments in family courts, ultimately supporting the best interest of the child.
In order to deliver high-quality assessments the process could include the following:
1. Gathering relevant information through interviews, observations, and documentation from all parties involved, such as parents, children, social workers, and other professionals.
2. Assessing the child's needs with a focus on best interest for the child’s safety, their emotional, physical, and developmental needs as well as considering their views and experiences.
3. Evaluating parental capacity to meet the child’s needs and the parental ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment.
4. And finally, providing well-reasoned recommendations that prioritize the child's best interests, supporting legal decisions regarding custody, contact arrangements, or protection.

"Elizabeth is able to identify the subtleties of IPV and coercive control and appreciates the broader challenges and context. Her empathy and insights are invaluable intellectually, emotionally, and practically!"
"For far too many years, the weight of shame and guilt, from choices I had made, things that I had done, was emotionally crippling, numbing. Through Elizabeth's guidance, insight and empathy, I have realized that, "choice", was not something I ever had. And that, that shame and quilt, was never mine to bear. Thank you Elizabeth."
"It has been life changing having Ms. Dubois as a resource for myself and family having recently left a coercive controlling marriage and am navigating the system after separation. Her knowledge and understanding of this form of abuse has been invaluable."
