Ms. Dubois is a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Ontario Association of Social Workers. She is in expert in her field and stays up to date on latest research, literature and best practices in order to provide exceptional service to her clients.
Ms. Dubois provides court-qualified expert reports in coercive control and intimate partner violence for family and criminal proceedings across Canada. That expertise lets me analyze a case in its full context and offer the court knowledgeable and credible insight.
Depending on the matter, reports may include structured interviews, review of primary records, documentation, and analysis of the contextual factors shaping the case. Findings are set out in detailed, clearly written reports — with interpretations and professional opinions tied directly to the evidence and the published research base. Reports are grounded in the pattern-based framework now recognized under the Divorce Act and emerging Criminal Code reform, and translate clinical evidence into language the court can use.

"Elizabeth is able to identify the subtleties of IPV and coercive control and appreciates the broader challenges and context. Her empathy and insights are invaluable intellectually, emotionally, and practically!"
"For far too many years, the weight of shame and guilt, from choices I had made, things that I had done, was emotionally crippling, numbing. Through Elizabeth's guidance, insight and empathy, I have realized that, "choice", was not something I ever had. And that, that shame and quilt, was never mine to bear. Thank you Elizabeth."
"It has been life changing having Ms. Dubois as a resource for myself and family having recently left a coercive controlling marriage and am navigating the system after separation. Her knowledge and understanding of this form of abuse has been invaluable."
